This Policy describes the shipping and delivery arrangements for purchases made through La Boutique online at Il San Pietro di Positano. It supplements the Online Terms and Conditions of Sale. Returns and refunds are governed by the Return and Refund Policy published on the Website.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to orders concluded through the La Boutique Il San Pietro di Positano e-commerce platform. The conditions shown at checkout and in the order confirmation prevail in relation to the specific aspects of each order, to the extent permitted by law.

2. Destinations served

Available destinations are indicated at checkout. The Seller may decline orders directed to countries or territories not served by the carrier or subject to legal, customs or transport restrictions.

Certain Products may be subject to territorial restrictions. Where applicable, such restrictions are indicated on the Website or at checkout.

3. Order preparation and processing

After the order is confirmed, the Seller prepares the Products for shipment. Preparation times may vary depending on Product availability, destination and periods of higher activity.

When the order is handed over to the carrier, the Customer receives the available shipping information.

4. Shipping methods and carriers

Products are shipped through one or more carriers selected by the Seller. The carrier may vary depending on the destination, type of Product and selected service.

The available shipping methods and related costs are shown at checkout. Where delivery options with specific environmental characteristics are available, they are indicated together with the relevant costs and delivery times.

5. Shipping costs

Standard shipping is free when the total value of the Products in the order, after applying discounts or promotional codes and before shipping charges, exceeds €500.

For orders with a value of €500 or less, the charges shown at checkout apply. Faster or special delivery services may involve an additional charge, which is indicated before the order is submitted.

6. Delivery times and deadline

Before the order is submitted, the Customer is informed of the date or time limit by which the Seller undertakes to make delivery, in accordance with applicable law.

Operational estimates provided by the carrier may vary depending on the destination, peak season, customs checks or events not attributable to the Seller. The Consumer’s statutory rights in the event of delayed delivery remain unaffected.

Unless otherwise agreed, delivery to Consumers takes place without undue delay and in any event within the maximum period provided by law.

7. Shipment tracking

Where the service allows, the Customer receives a tracking number or a link to track the shipment. Tracking information is provided by the carrier and may be updated with a delay.

8. International shipments, duties and taxes

For shipments to countries outside the EU, duties, import taxes, fees or other customs charges may apply.

These amounts may be included in the total paid to the Seller or requested from the recipient upon import. The applicable treatment is indicated at checkout or in the order confirmation.

The Customer remains responsible for charges not included in the total paid to the Seller, to the extent provided by applicable law.

9. Restrictions in the destination country

The Customer must check any local prohibitions or restrictions relating to the import, possession or use of the Products where such checks do not fall within the Seller’s statutory obligations.

The Seller is not liable for the consequences of local restrictions that could not reasonably have been known and are not attributable to its conduct. Obligations and liabilities that cannot be excluded by law remain unaffected.

10. Delivery and transfer of risk

For Consumers, the risk of loss of or damage to the Products passes to the Consumer when the Consumer, or a third party designated by the Consumer other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the Products.

If the Consumer independently chooses a carrier not proposed by the Seller, the rules provided by applicable law apply.

11. Package damaged on delivery

Upon delivery, we recommend checking the integrity of the package. If there is visible damage, it is advisable to note a reservation with the carrier and promptly contact Customer Care.

Failure to note a reservation with the carrier does not affect the Consumer’s mandatory rights.

12. Incorrect or incomplete address

The Customer must provide a complete and correct address. If the Customer notices an error, Customer Care should be contacted as soon as possible.

If the shipment has already been handed over to the carrier, changing the address may not be possible. Any additional costs may be charged only if and to the extent permitted by law.

13. Delivery attempts and storage

The Customer must be available for delivery in accordance with the procedures communicated by the carrier. In the event of absence, the carrier may make further delivery attempts or hold the parcel for collection.

The Customer is invited to follow the carrier’s instructions and collect the parcel within the stated time limits.

14. Uncollected parcels or refused deliveries

Refusing delivery or failing to take delivery does not automatically amount to exercising the right of withdrawal and does not, in itself, result in the loss of that right.

If the Customer intends to withdraw, the Customer must communicate this using one of the methods permitted by law and indicated in the Return and Refund Policy.

15. Return-to-sender costs

If the parcel is returned to the Seller due to non-collection, an incorrect address or refusal of delivery, the Seller processes any refund after receiving and inspecting the Products.

The direct cost of return remains borne by the Customer in the cases provided by law and where the Customer has been informed in advance.

Any additional actual and documented costs directly caused by non-collection, an international return or customs formalities may be charged or deducted only if and to the extent permitted by applicable law.

No charge is made where failed delivery is due to an error attributable to the Seller or another circumstance for which the law places the cost on the Seller.

16. Events beyond the Seller’s control

Delivery may be delayed by events beyond the Seller’s reasonable control. These may include, for example, natural events, strikes, transport disruptions, measures by public authorities or customs restrictions.

The Seller takes reasonable measures to limit the effects of such events. The Consumer’s mandatory rights remain unaffected.

17. Contact details

For information about shipping and delivery, the Customer may use the contact details indicated on the Website and in the order confirmation. Unless a different dedicated contact is provided, the Customer may contact laboutique@ilsanpietro.it or call +39 089 812 080.
